My name is Lana Stacy and I am a New York State licensed acupuncturist and board certified by the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM).

I have a passion for developing meaningful relationships with each of my patients and creating a safe space for them to heal, grow, and evolve into the best versions of themselves. I enjoy getting to know my patients on a deep level and finding the root issue of their pain, whether it be physical, emotional, or spiritual. At the crux of all of my treatments is a profound understanding of the connection between the mind and body.

I specialize in pain management and have received advanced training in trigger point therapy/dry needling. This style is a hands-on approach that provides quick and efficient pain relief. I also specialize in treating a variety of mental health concerns.

I am dedicated to providing the best care possible, and strive to enhance my knowledge. To continue honing in on my specialty in mental health, I am currently working on a Trauma-Informed Care certification through Acupuncturists Without Borders. I am also trained in crisis intervention through the Johns Hopkins method for providing Psychological First Aid (PFA). In 2022, I studied Traditional Tui Na under the instruction of Tom Bisio.

On a personal note, I'm a Jersey girl born and raised, but I re-located to Brooklyn for acupuncture school. I studied psychology as an undergraduate at Fordham University with an emphasis in neuroscience and developmental psychology. It was at Fordham that I began to foster my desire to understand the psyche and the mind-body connection. I felt called to work with people and practice medicine, but I was discouraged by the lack of deep interpersonal connection in the traditional western medical model. I went on to study at Tri-State College of Acupuncture where I received my Master of Science. There, I studied three styles of acupuncture that I integrate into my practice today: Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM), Acupuncture Physical Therapy (APM - a meridian-based style with a focus on trigger points), and a gentle Japanese style known as Kiiko Matsumoto (KM).

For fun, I love to climb indoors and outdoors. I mostly boulder, but I have also recently picked up top rope. I am currently working on being able to send a V6!
